The performance is about Rampegutt and the newborn baby; Newborn Andersen. With the help of magic from the all-knowing wizard Waldemar, Newborn Andersen gets the ability to walk and talk for a period of three diaper changes. Newborn goes out to discover the world. Rampegutt who is lonely and orphaned stays behind and takes over the place in Newborn's cradle. While Rampegutt is being spoiled by Mr. and Mrs. Andersen, Newborn Andersen meets two horses who have ended up in a real pinch. The wizard Waldemar therefore brings in Rampegutt to assist the Newborn. The boys decide to save the two horses…
Anne-Cath. Vestly wrote this play for Oslo Nye Dukketeatret in 1970. Kattas Figurteater has renewed it and added animated film in the many wild travelscenes that Vestly has written. The performance is suitable for children from 4 years.
