Dramatikkens Hus has granted both script support and a workshop for our upcoming production Nullrikken. We at Kattas are very grateful for this! In week 32 we conducted the workshop where we worked with text and music. The workshop included playwright and actress Anne Helgesen, dramaturge Kristina Kjeldsberg, musicians Lars Bremnes and Terje Johannesen and director Henriette Kihle. The week has been very rewarding and we are already starting to see the contours of a beautiful performance, which is about Anne's childhood and her very special friendship with her grandfather. The workshop week resulted in a work preview on August 16, where the audience got a taste of Helgesen's text and the composers' musical sketches. We look forward to presenting the finished performance, which will premiere at the Figur festival in Fossekleiva on October 6, 2024.
