In 2021, both Tønsberg municipality and Kattas Figurteater turned one year old. On that occasion, Kattas made a huge cat figure that is inspired by the cat carvings on a cart that was found in the Oseberg ship. The big cat is now finished and ready to stretch his legs. Together with a city walk with the big cat, we offer a workshop where children can make their own little oseberg cats. The children who participate in the workshop are allowed to take part in the walk with the cat afterwards. On the walk, we play the Oseberg cat's song and the children who join join in and meow at the chorus. We have also made some small games with the big cat and it stops and interacts with passing children and adults.

The workshop lasts for 1.5 hours and is suitable for children from 4 years. The youngest children must be accompanied by an adult.
The cat and the workshop can take care of a city party, children's day, outdoor festival or the like.
